Chhaya school of art
Chhaya school of Art, started in 1999, by Suman Saini, an art teacher. She wanted the generations come to not to demolish arts from the culture of india and therefore gave the responsibility to the one’s she could trust, her daughter and son in law. A seed of dreams and hopes, chhaya school of art was sown by a man with full determination and dedication, Mr. Koushik Sinha. He set off for Chandigarh from Calcutta with nothing but a strong belief in himself. The positive and drivefull attitude of the people of Chandigarh encouraged Mr. Koushik Sinha to translate his dreams into reality. Initially he did not get positive replies but he did not let himself down. As it is said, people who help themselves are helped by the Creator. His efforts showed results and he began his journey with 2 students.
He recieved major support from his father-in-law, Mr. Jagdish Saini.
Mr. Koushik Sinha had a dream of opening a school which is today a trust. After 12 years, chhaya school of Art has Many Students. Chaya school of Art has put its efforts to do social work. It has organised many competitions. The students of Chaya school of Art have competed on the state, national and international level. 7 students have already had their own, solo exhibitions which has provided the students with a sense of achievement and their fellows with lots of motivation.
Koushik Sinha ha bagged a state award as well as best artist award. He also achieved the best artist award. He also acheived the best teacher award from former governor Mr. Jacob.
Koushik Sinha and wife Praveen Sinha have a master degree in arts.
Praveen Sinha has a major contribution in the promotion of chhaya school of Art. She has been a topper in Punjab university. She got her master degree from Kurukshetra Her skills are one of factors of what chhaya school of art is today. She has provided the children with a unique technique. She was always there to support Mr. Sinha and she worked day and night for chhaya school of art.
Kuntal sinha, also worked hard with dedication to promote chhaya school of art.
Koushik Sinha’s mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law have been very supporting.
It is through the blessings of their parents they have achieved what they wanted out of life.
Mr. And Mrs. Sinha have judged various competitions and have also been invited as chief guests.
They both have the aim of giving arts a new level and a different frame of reference.
Encouraged by the humble success that Mr. And Mrs. Sinha recieved, Chhayakriti Pratibha Trust have plans to open institutions all over India and in abroad. They will conduct examinations in which the students will receive diploma and degree in arts.
They do not want the students to be copywriters, but the creators themselves.

Our Aspirations & Goal
Our aim is to establish and maintain cultural institutions, regional centres and giving opportunity for students in fine arts including music, dance, sculpture, painting.Yoga and other theatrical arts and academic subjects in different parts of India.
Some of the key aims and objects of the CSA as defined in the Memorandum of Association are as under-
:
To promote, encourage, propagate the Indian tradition in fine arts, to educate and train people in fine arts, and generally take all steps for the same.
We provides courses of study and to frame rules and regulations to conduct examinations in fine arts including music, dance, sculpture, painting, yoga other theatrical arts and academic subjects and award certificates and medels to the students of our affiliated institutions.
To take steps to establish University/Universities including a residential/open university with a view to conduct examinations and award certificates, diplomas and confer other distinctions in music, dance, painting, drama and other theatrical arts including academic subjects.
Our main objects is to promoting greater awareness of Indian arts, traditions and to arrange public performances, exhibitions in various fine arts including dance, music, sculpture, painting and other theatrical arts including academic subjects.

Administrative & Management branch:

The Administrative branch conducts the meetings of the General Body and Executive Board of the Center as well as looks after all administrative functions including audited statements of income and expenditure before the Executive Board and General Body for maintenance of accounts, budget formulation and approval.
It is a executive board, which give administrative support to other branches of the Center to implement their programs. And also on the lines laid down by the controlling Board of the Center and the directorial Body of the board
